Blockchain Application Engineer (Golang/Rust)- Remote

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in the full lifecycle of blockchain development (protocols, infrastructures, bridges, applications), including design, coding, testing, deployment, documentation and support

  • Research and analyze protocols and applications in major blockchain ecosystems

  • Work closely with data scientists, product managers, and other engineers to solve both technical and business challenges

  • Connect with the developer community and collaborate with engineering teams within the ecosystem

Requirements

  • At least 2-years of work experience as a blockchain engineer

  • Proficiency in Golang, Rust, or other mainstream blockchain development languages

  • Solid knowledge in computing theory including data structures, algorithms, database theory and networking

  • An ability to learn quickly and hit the ground running on a complex software project

  • Experience working with major established blockchains preferred

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant 

  • Knowledge in Filecoin / IPFS is a plus

Product Manager- Remote

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for consolidating and planning product requirements, as well as the structuring of product roadmaps.

  • Analyze client demand, industry trends, and competitor activities to provide business insights to promote innovation in Starboard’s product development and service offerings

  • Manage product development priorities and development timeline to ensure high quality and on-time product deliveries

  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and coordination among engineering, research, and business development teams to align internal and external stakeholders and achieve business objectives

  • Analyze product performance and collect user feedback to optimize user experience

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in software development and product management

  • Systematic understanding of necessary technology stack for product development––familiar with major databases preferred

  • Good sense and acumen to understand business requirements and transform them into actionable product roadmaps and development plans

  • Good product design methodology, good at finding entry points in complex or new businesses

  • Ability to provide clear, high-quality product prototypes, flowcharts, wireframes or other related solutions;

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Fast learner and ability to thrive in high-stress environment

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in relevant field. Engineering background and experience is preferred

Product Visual Designer- Remote

Responsibilities

  • Lead in creation and constant improvement of Starboard’s key product visual design languages, forming design standards and best practices

  • Produce wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows to effectively communicate creative UI/UX design ideas 

  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to implement these designs into product development

  • Present and defend your design ideas by clarifying design goals, formulating effective design strategies, and providing complete visual solutions

  • Consistently propose suggestions and solutions to improve and optimize product experience

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in UI/UX or product visual design - familiar with Web application design rules (iOS and Android design experience is not required, but will be a plus)

  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates UI design skills and excellent visual skills, with sensitivity to user-system interaction

  • Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively, to innovate and develop out-of-the-box solutions to complex user interaction problems towards business goals

  • Excellent time-management skills with a strong sense of self-drive and ownership

  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese is a plus

Data Scientist - Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, process, and analyze data to deliver insights and business growth

  • Develop predictive models, algorithms, and visualizations based on complex network activities

  • Analyze and validate designs and mechanisms of different economic systems

  • Develop agent-based simulations of socio-technological networks

  • On-demand analysis of topics related to micro incentive structures or behaviors, as well as macro trends and dynamics

Requirements:

  • At least 2-year work experience as a data scientist

  • Experience working on real-world datasets to drive business value

  • Enjoy working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment 

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Applied Maths, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering or similar technical field

Talent Acquisition Manager - Remote 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform full-cycle recruiting for open positions: from sourcing, interviewing, coordinating hiring process, to offer negotiating, etc.

  • Provide an outstanding candidate experience, from initial introduction to onboarding

  • Communicate and negotiate with business line managers on hiring demands and prioritizations

  • Work closely with the company management team and hiring managers on constant improvement of the hiring process. Drive or take part in various HR projects and initiatives

  • Manage recruiting records and other HR assets in a structured and timely manner

  • Develop and maintain a continually-stocked pipeline of quality talent through various methods, including but not limited to: networking within the community, contacting and/or visiting universities, and fostering continued contact with quality candidates who may qualify for future positions

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in recruitment, experience in top-tier tech / blockchain companies or agencies is preferred

  • Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese

  • Great communication and people management skills, delivering effective results in stakeholder management, relationship building, and candidate / employee consulting

  • Skilled with modern sourcing and selection techniques

  • Experience in developing complex compensation packages and general HR requirements as related to hiring

  • Successful track record of delivering on aggressive hiring goals

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing demands

  • Strong problem-solving, data analytics and reporting skills

  • Possess some knowledge or interest in the blockchain industry
